Papua New Guinea, an island located north of Australia, is volcanic terrain, densely forested and dramatic, with mountains and river valleys, and typically produces coffees with lots of oils that can sometimes come out as early in the roast. This results in flavors that are rich and burst on the palate. Despite challenges like poor infrastructure and resources, PNG coffees are of high quality.
